Meet Mr. Lewis Leonard. National Truck Drivers School Graduate of the Month for March 2009.

Lewis travelled up from South Daytona, Florida to join us.

He is also a man who likes to travel.  Which is why he chose a career as Professional Truck Driver.  What better way to enjoy what you like to do and get paid to do it.

In fact, this is a common reason people enter the transportation industry.  If you enjoy traveling, being out and about and not stuck on an office or factory then this is the career for you.   The view from your office changes every day.

Prior to his career change Lewis worked as a motorcycle mechanic and he is also a family man and is married to Vicki, who works in the legal field and also has a daughter whose name is Leija.  Leija is currently attending FSU as a junior.  GO NOLES!!!

We asked Lewis what his experience was like at National Truck Drivers School and in his own words…”The instructors were very supportive and always had encouragement when the trip seemed impossible.”   As for any memorable moments Lewis tells us he enjoyed making new friends from around the southeast and learning about the trucking industry.

Well Lewis we are very happy you enjoyed your experience with us.  This makes us proud to do our jobs.

Lewis’s future plans are to utilize the skills he acquired here at National Truck Drivers School and gain as much experience as he can in order to move up the ladder within the industry.

Instructor Comments:

Lewis is a really great guy.  He was eager to learn as much as possible and put forth a lot of effort.  We wish him the best.
