National Heavy Equipment Operators School want’s to introduce you to Mr. Roger Johnson. Roger graduated from our most excellent school in December of 2003. Since graduation Roger has been gainfully employed with ADB utility contractors. ADB is actually American Directional Boring. Roger routinely uses Caterpillar equipment including the mini excavator pictured here. He also operates tractor loader-backhoes, skid-steer loaders, super 10 water truck, and various dump trucks.

The exciting thing about Roger Johnson’s job is the different equipment he gets to operate. He loves the outdoors and enjoys the ever changing job tasks he performs with this equipment. He also enjoys being home every night.

Roger spent 28 years in the United States Navy prior to becoming an equipment operator. His commitment to our security did not permit him to be home as much as he wanted to be. After serving, Roger knew he would need a second career. He chose National for the training he wanted. He chose us because we had everything he has looking for. He liked the phase approach of distance learning and then resident training. He also liked the cost. No other school in the country offers what we do for the money. Finally, he liked the location of the school sunny Florida.

Roger has been married to Bev for 28 years. All of their children have grown up, moved away, and started families of their own. Bev is a prominent figure in the Duval School system. Roger certainly enjoys coming home at night now. Being good at operating equipment has afforded him this opportunity. Roger has had one successful career and is now enjoying the second one. His immediate goals are to hone his operator talents and be as safe and alert as he can be.

National Training Heavy Equipment Operators School proudly awards Roger with the coveted

Graduate of the Month honors for October 2005.

He’s earned it!
