National Training has the honor and distinct pleasure of presenting a very interesting character. This gentleman hails from Miami Florida, is married, and has two children. His name is Maqsood Janjua and his wife’s name is Shaista. Maqsood has had two careers that provided a good income and a challenge.

Prior to attending National Truck Drivers School, Maqsood was the manager of a business. He enjoyed the security but hated the monotony of the day-to-day responsibilities. Prior to that, he was an Officer in the U.S. Army. He proudly served our great nation and routinely put himself in harms way to preserve our freedoms. After these two successful careers it was time for one more change.

Maqsood decided to be a trucker for a couple of reasons, he enjoys traveling and it is never monotonous. He placed his training needs in National’s hands back in May of 1999. He chose National truck Drivers School because “You’re one of the best.” He told us “I am proud of being trained by this institute.” Although, we are not really an institute, we do appreciate the sentiment. Because of his Army training, Maqsood had no real difficulties with the training program. He simply told us ” One has to be serious about every step of the training.” We agree, however, the school is interesting and fun to attend too!

Maqsood had three job offers even before he graduated. He accepted a position with Schneider National Carriers because “They’re the top company in the U.S.” Schneider Began with one truck in March 1935 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Schneider National has grown to serve over two-thirds of the Fortune 500 companies in the United States. Offering the broadest portfolio of services, Schneider is the recognized leader in the full load transportation industry. Schneider National has forty operating locations throughout the United States that provide fuel, equipment maintenance and driver services. What Maqsood enjoys most about his new career is the challenge of each day’s assignment and the responsibility Schneider places on him. A fully loaded truck can be worth millions in terms of business operations and revenues.

We here at National truck Drivers School are fortunate to have had Maqsood as a student. The trucking industry in general and Schneider in particular is fortunate to also have Maqsood to depend on to “deliver the goods.” Thanks Maqsood for being a trucker and choosing National truck Drivers School for your training.
