Conrad Forbes is a long time resident of Brunswick Georgia. Conrad came to National Training back in May of 2000. He was a truck driving student that did extremely well during his training. He was hired directly out of school and began driving trucks. After a time, Conrad realized that trucking is not what he wanted to continue to do for the rest of his life. He desired to learn another trade.

Conrad Forbes enrolled in National Heavy Equipment Operators School in May of 2002. He received training on late model equipment and graduated with flying colors. He sailed through all of the training and was certified to operate bulldozers, excavators, loaders, back-hoes, mini-excavators, and skid-steer loaders. Conrad now works for Sea Island Company in Georgia. He operates Caterpillar Equipment for them. This Excavator pictured is his favorite.

One indicator of a successful company is the ability to earn repeat business. Conrad liked the way we did things when he needed truck driver training. When he wanted to be a heavy equipment operator, he looked to us first. We are grateful to Conrad for his business and we are happy for him that he is now doing something he truly likes. Conrad liked trucking but, he prefers to stay close to home now. Being a heavy equipment operator provides him with the money he was used to and he stays near the house.

At some time in the future, if Conrad decides to hit the road again, National Training’s Placement department will be there for him. It will be there for you too if you go National!
