National Training, Inc. is now offering a CDL Class A Modified Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) program program for those looking to enter the hot shot trucking industry. You’ll learn what you need to know to operate any vehicle requiring a Class A Modified CDL license, and get plenty of driving practice at our 350-acre custom-built training grounds. You’ll learn in our classrooms the knowledge you’ll need to pass your Class A Modified Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) exam and qualify for a hot shot truck driving career.
Our CDL Class A Modified ELDT program is completed at the school’s training grounds. It consists of classroom, computer lab, simulator, driving range and “over-the-road” instruction with the student owned equipment. The student is taught driver techniques, defensive driving, Department of Transportation regulations, log-book procedures, and other related subjects. The student also participates in practice driving on a specially prepared driving range on our training grounds and operates your truck and your Trailer with a combined GVW 26,001 lbs. on local area highways and city streets over selected routes
