Financial Aid Programs Available for Qualifying Students

Trucking is the fastest growing and most in-demand career in the US economy. For qualified students concerned with tuition, National Training Inc. offers a variety of financial resources for financial aid in addition to our low tuition costs, regardless of your credit status. Below we’ve highlighted the most popular types of financial aid used by our students.

Please note that although National Training Inc. participates in many financial aid programs, we do not participate in any Federally sponsored student loan or finanical aid programs, also known as Title IV loans).

Career Student Loan

Many of our students take advantage of Career Student loans as a type of financial aid to pay for all or part of their tuition cost. National Training Inc. has arranged for funding availability through private sources to students who display financial need. You must meet the minimum qualifications for being a truck driver to be considered for a Career Student Loan:

  • You are at least 21 years old
  • You can speak, read and write English well enough to do your job
  • You can drive a truck safely
  • You have a valid FL operator’s license
  • You have a good driving record
  • You can pass the D.O.T. physical examination

Income Share Agreement (ISA)

An ISA is a type of financial aid that is a contractual agreement in which you receive funding for your education. In exchange, you agree to share a fixed percentage of your post–graduation pre-tax income over a defined period of time. You will pay 8.95% of your post-graduation pre-tax income for 36 months.

  • No application fees
  • No hidden fees
  • Downside protection means you do not have to make a payment in a month where your earned income is below the minimum threshold
  • No payments during education
  • ISA repayments only begin once you secure earned income of $2,400/month
  • You’ll make a maximum of 36 monthly payments

Military and Veterans

National Training Inc. honors and values our nation’s military. We participate in the GI Bill®, Post-9/11 GI Bill®, and MyCAA programs.

Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Grants

WIOA is designed to help job seekers access employment, education, training, and support services to succeed in the labor market and to match employers with the skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy. National Training Inc. is an approved provider of training funded by State and Regional Workforce Boards. Participants in this financial aid program who receive a grant can take our truck driving or heavy equipment operator training with National Training Inc. for little or no cost.

Services under the WIOA include the “Core,” “Intensive” and “Training” phases. The program also includes Workforce Innovation and opportunity grants. Applicants who receive the WIOA grant must complete the first two phases before training can begin.
