At Windy Hill, you’re never more than two days from home – it’s the next best thing to regional, yet with OTR pay! There’s no waiting period – if you’re hired, we have a tractor for you. Most drivers are in a truck (or in training) within two days of hire.

STUDENT DRIVERS
Our training program consists of four weeks of paid training. This training period ensures that you have the knowledge and skills to become a successful over the road driver for our company. You can expect to be on the road for all four weeks with a trainer to assist and instruct you. After the training is complete, you will be evaluated by completing a behind the wheel road test to determine your readiness for solo driving.

EXPERIENCED DRIVERS
We are glad to welcome drivers who have at least one year of OTR experience. If you took a break from trucking and want to start up again, we’re glad to provide a refresher course for you! This is paid training and we’ll get you back in the driver’s seat soon.

Driver qualifications:

• Must be 23+ years of age
• Must possess Class A CDL-Interstate license
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening test
• Must not have any major driving violations in past five years, nor more than two minor violations in past three years
• Must not have any drug or alcohol violations on your employment record
• Must pass road test
